From a young age, I aspired to be a global citizen, and in my early 20s, I made a life-changing decision that set me on an extraordinary journey. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of living in seven different countries, each one leaving a unique imprint on my personal and professional growth.
My academic journey took me to the University of Derby in the United Kingdom, where I earned my degree in Events Management. I furthered my education with a Master’s degree in Strategic Events Management and Tourism Management from SKEMA Business School in the south of France. My pursuit of knowledge culminated in postgraduate studies in Entrepreneurship at UCLA.
Professionally, I have thrived in diverse industries—from the dynamic world of start-ups and the structured environment of large corporations to the vibrant settings of film festivals and renowned events. These experiences have equipped me with a rich and varied skill set, encompassing exceptional organizational, communication, and customer service abilities. As an editor at The Hollywood Times, I cover the latest events in the fashion, beauty, and entertainment industries, providing insights and highlights that resonate with our audience.
With over 8 years of experience in event planning, driven by a passion for excellence and a desire to deliver unparalleled service, I ventured into entrepreneurship and founded Tactic Events. My mission is to create events that blend European standards with American innovation, ensuring that each event is not only memorable but also impactful.

With a strong background in digital media strategies and event planning, I am now bringing my expertise to Los Angeles.
Our company specialize in creating exceptional private events that leave a lasting impression. My career includes significant roles at one of the largest marketing agencies in Northern and Southern America, where I managed diverse projects for clients in industries such as beauty, solar power, real estate, events, retail, and construction. This experience has provided me with a unique perspective on both strategic marketing and event planning.
Currently, I am furthering my expertise in Los Angeles by pursuing a postgraduate degree in business with a concentration in marketing at UCLA. This academic pursuit underscores my commitment to mastering cutting-edge marketing strategies and understanding emerging trends. John has successfully hosted events for diverse groups of 100-200 people, demonstrating his adeptness at managing varying scales and styles of gatherings with ease. Whether orchestrating elegant dinners, dynamic corporate functions, or lively social celebrations, John’s expertise ensures that each event is tailored to meet the specific needs and preferences of his clients. His ability to seamlessly integrate diverse elements: from logistics and innovative design to execution—shows his dedication to delivering exceptional experiences. I began my career with a degree in Industrial Engineering. My journey into the world of event planning was shaped by my initial experiences in category management at Watsons, a leading retail company. There, I honed my skills in organizing product launches, promotions, and special occasion campaigns, particularly within the make-up, skincare, and personal care categories in the e-commerce sector.
Seeking to broaden my expertise, I transitioned to Unilever as a Customer Development Gen Next specialist, where I worked in the ice cream category, managing collaborations with global fast food chains like Burger King and KFC. This role allowed me to develop a strong foundation in sales and client relationship management.
I then moved to the operations department at Getir Logistics, where my focus shifted to improving the customer experience by identifying pain points during the order process and implementing strategic solutions. This role further solidified my interest in project management and customer satisfaction.
With a passion for marketing and a desire to combine my diverse experiences, I decided to advance my career in Los Angeles. I pursued a specialization in digital marketing at UCLA, where I gained cutting-edge knowledge that now complements my event planning expertise. My background in engineering, retail, sales, and logistics uniquely positions me to create seamless, innovative, and client-focused events.
